All about Chilgrove

Chilgrove Dry Gin is made with a grape base, rather than grain, and is the first British Spirit to do so. One of the co-founders was born in Holland and is familiar with both Gin and Jenever, the latter of which was originally made with a grape base.

It was this knowledge that led them to start experimenting with the recipe. Chilgrove Gin is distilled at the Thames Distillery in London with 11 botanicals – juniper, coriander, orris, angelica, sweet and bitter orange, liquorice, grains of paradise, fresh lime, savoury and wild mint – all fairly traditional. The grape base makes for a smooth, full-bodied Gin with a unique character.
