All about Opihr

Opihr Gin, which launched in 2013, celebrates the ancient spice route, which sailed from Indonesia, through India, Turkey, Italy, Morocco and Spain, bringing exotic spices to the UK.

Master Distiller Joanna Moore developed Opihr with these spices in mind. Opihr features oranges from Seville, coriander seed from Morocco, juniper from Italy, cumin seed from Turkey, black pepper from Kerala, and cubeb from Malaysia.

These botanicals make it to their final destination; England’s oldest Gin distillery, where they’re made into Ophir. Individually, they’re all botanicals which aren’t uncommon in Gin, but the sum of those parts creates a wonderfully warm, peppery, spicy, heady, sweet mix.
