All about Tincup
TINCUP Whiskey is the mountain whiskey, aged in charred oak barrels, crafted with Rocky Mountain water and bottled in Colorado at 5,251ft elevation.
TINCUP was founded by Jess Graber in 2014. Graber began distilling over 40 years ago after he was gifted a 10-gallon still. A true American mountain man, Graber ran a construction company, rode rodeo and volunteered as a firefighter before he created TINCUP: a celebration of the rugged spirit of the Colorado mountain lifestyle.
TINCUP whiskey takes its name from Tin Cup, an old mining town set on the western side of the Rockies named after the old cups the miners would drink from. The name TINCUP Whiskey and the cap on the bottle are both nods to this piece of Colorado history.
