A glorious Speysider with plenty of time in American and ex-Sherry wood to deliver a soft and smooth finisher.
There is some question about the exact date of its founding. But we know for certain that James Fleming either built or rebuilt the Aberlour Distillery in 1879. We also know that Aberlour makes an amazing range of Highland Single Malts in the classic Speyside style and we’d gladly sample ANYTHING that they send our way. And their Whiskies win lots of awards, taking home medals in every serious industry competition they enter.
Aberlour consistently makes great Single Malt Whiskies. Year after year they crank out a consistently exceptional product. You will never go wrong keeping a bottle of anything they release on the bar to make yourself and your guests happy sippers. Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask Matured steps it up a notch firther not only because it has been aged for eleven years, but because it picks up a deeper profile from the combination of first-fill American oak and ex-Sherry casks.
