Gin in Spain is a big thing. So big, that Gin there, well, it has broken quite a few barriers and is highly acknowledged by all those who cherish Gin as their prefered tipple… Neat or mixed. But this Gin is forging a completely new direction.

Alkkemist Gin is based on triple distilled grains and flavored with 21 distinct botanicals. One of them is Muscat grape, which adds quite an unusual twist to this Gin. The grape is added at the end of the process, and is totally unique to this drink. Another botanical that is also quite unique and delivers a special note is Samphire. Blended with all other botanicals they form a bouquet that you won’t easily forget.

Alkkemist is made in traditional copper alembics and is supposedly distilled only when the light of the moon is strong enough. Only 12 times per year this Gin runs through their stills under very strict methodology. A Mediterranean delicacy with a touch of mystery.

This gin gets a full 10 stars b/c it is so unique yet delicious! I do like gin so that helps. But the floral aftertaste is something else! This is a smooth gin w/ a very unique and yummy scent and final flavor.
I have enjoyed it neat and in a gin and tonic and both were quite good. Mixed w/ the tonic water & lime was definitely refreshing.
Plus, the bottle is super cool!
