Only Tequila and Horses.
Produced by El Llano distillery, which was founded in the early 1900s by the Orendan Family. It is located in Jalisco, Mexico, in the heart of Tequila production. The brand Arette was established in 1986 and was named after a horse called Arete, who was Mexico's obstacles champion in the 1948 Olympics in England. Like most distilleries in the town of Jalisco, El Lano gets its water from the volcano of Jalisco.
The Arette Añejo Tequila is made from 100% Blue Agave and is aged for 14-18 months in American white oak barrels. The Blue Agave they use is matured for an average of 9 years (which is slightly ) before being cooked and processed.
