Armorik is an old family powerhouse. Founded in 1900 in Lannion, France, by Léon Warenghem, Armorik was originally producing plant liqueurs and really made a name for itself with their famous 35-plant liqueur Elixir d’Armorique, still in production today. It wasn’t until 1983 that the distillery produced its first Whiskey - and funny enough, it was a trained pharmacist that decided to take the distillery on a less plant-based journey. In 1998, the first Single Malt from Brittany and France was launched, quickly becoming the driving force of the distillery, collecting awards left and right and catching the spotlight wherever you put it.
Armorik Classic Single Malt is a rich and fruity Whiskey, a true Brittany child. Made from 100% organic French Barley and distilled in the traditional pot stills, this Whiskey matured in ex-Bourbon casks of various ages in the perfect weather conditions on the Breton coast. Bottled at a quite powerful ABV of 46%, this deep and complex Whiskey is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Gold medalist at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
