Atherton Whiskey Prohibition Era Bottling

The Atherton distillery opened in 1870, and it produced Whiskey until 1920 when the Prohibition came. Three years before, when the US entered WW1, they distilled this precious dram and kept it maturing for 12 years until it was bottled by National Distillers as a medicinal Spirit.

It's more of a bottled time capsule from a century ago than just another Whiskey, and tasting what our great grandfathers drank is an incredible privilege.
