The spirit of Norway. Bottled.
Made in Bergen, Norway, at the Oss Craft Distillery, Bareksten Gin is fairly new to the market, but that hasn’t stopped it (quite rightly) causing a bit of a stir already. Last year, Bareksten was awarded the much-coveted double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. What’s more, it was awarded top marks by all 42 judges… In a blind taste test.
Intrigued? We’re just getting started. Bareksten takes inspiration from the Nordic legend of ‘Hulder’ or wood nymphs, and from the dense Norwegian forest, where the sunlight can barely reach, as well as the country’s ancient craft traditions. Inspired by raw nature and vast forests, Bareksten calls itself ‘the bottled essence of Norwegian nature’.
In the dense forests, only the strongest botanicals survive. The distillers have sourced the finest Norwegian botanicals including organic herbs and berries to create a spirit with an earthy, wild quality. The clean flavors are slightly savory, balanced out by the sweetness of the berries. Dark, rich and magical; this is the spirit of Norway, bottled.
