The Owl Distillery has been up and running since 2004, creating handcrafted Malt from local farmland barley in Belgium. When it came to their equipment, Caperdonich were happy to offer up their stills after closing in 2002. Outside of this, Owl distillery produces a truly Belgian Spirit by a truly Belgian family.

Here we have Belgian Owl’s 3-year-old Malt that has been matured exclusively in first-fill Bourbon casks and is non-chill filtered at 46% ABV. As the only Belgian distillery, The Owl cheekily boast that this Single Malt is a blend of the best Belgian Whisky casks out there. Well, duh. The awards it has stacked up internationally, however, do hold some real stature. Both the Whisky Bible and World Whisky Awards have praised this young single Malt as one of the finest 3-year-olds on the market. With the classic light flavors of a young Bourbon-fill Spirit, this really is a moreish Malt for those who like delicate fruit flavors in their Whisky.
