Franz de la Boë, a Dutch physician and scientist came up with a pretty good recipe for Gin. And not just any recipe for Gin, but the first recipe for Gin. Seeking to discover a diuretic for kidney disease, Boë stumbled upon Gin, and the masses have been going wild for it ever since. Cue Boë , a company that dedicates its drinks to the founding father of the juniper enriched spirits. Based in the Scottish town of Doune, Boë create the perfectly titles Superior Gin, because what could be better than the original? They locally source many of their botanicals, including cassia bark from the Isle of Skye. The distillery also uses the uncommon Carter Head still, that allows for a process of vapour-infusion to take place.

Boë Superior Gin lives up to its name. It is overflowing with juniper berries and an undercurrent of spices that just make the taste buds come alive. This Gin rings true of its natural origins, with rich, earthy aromas and delicate floral notes creating a melody in the mouth. There is also a spiced quality to this Gin that enriches and enhances the ripe juniper throughout.
