Learn more >A traditional Amaro, inspired by booming fields of flowers.
The story starts at the end of the 19th century at Cismon del Grappa between the River Brenta and Mount Grappa in northern Italy. It’s there that the Maschio family has been cultivating the land and producing top-notch Grappa for over a century. In the beginning of the 20th century, their company was founded by Antonio Maschio and it’s still a family affair over a century later; it’s now run by Italo Maschio, his son Andrea and daughter Anna. And while their traditional methods and values remain the same, they don’t produce just Grappa anymore, but also a diverse range of premium Gin, Mezcal, Tequila, Rum, Wine, Amaro, Prime, and Liqueurs.
Bonaventura Amaro Erbe e Fiori is a modern take on their classic Bonaventura Amaro. This version of the bitter Liqueur was inspired by flowers. Yes, flowers. The tasting experience is suspiciously reminiscent of a stroll in the blooming fields in the Veneto region in the spring. It starts with geranium, rosewood, linden, and cornflower before pleasantly bitter flavors of nettle and bogbean come flooding through. Bottled at 60 proof, there’s apple and pear to close it all up. It’s the perfect drink to have at the end of your day. Just savor it neat or over ice.
