Bowsaw Extra American Small Batch Bourbon

A small batch Bourbon that does Kentucky justice.

Ah, Kentucky. It’s the birthplace of one of the greatest distilling traditions in the world and the lads at Bowsaw Whiskey are on a mission to do right by it. Making a truly authentic American Whiskey, they respect the coopers craft – so much so, they even dedicated their name to it. Every glass bottle they make is screen printed by hand, making it unique. Their distilleries in the north of the state boast over 350 combined years of distilling heritage. They celebrate diversity, which is why their 3rd generation Master Distiller makes all three styles, Bourbon, Rye and Corn in their family owned distillery. And last but not least, their Whiskeys are all straight and aged between 3-5 years.

The Bowsaw Extra American Small Batch Bourbon is distilled and aged in northern Kentucky near the Ohio River. The mash bill? It's high in rye, with 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. The maturation takes place in new #4 char American oak barrels and the result is a beautifully deep color and character. Think an authentic American dance of powerful vanilla and rich caramel notes, packed in a smoother-than-butter palate at 86 proof.
