The distillery is located in Cognac, France. It makes sense, really. It's where all the wonderful French oak barrels are made, there’s plenty of distilling capacity, and the people there have been maturing fine spirits since... well, forever. There are only a few varieties of Brenne Whisky available so far, including a NAS, a few special award-winning Estate Casks, and their brand new 10-year-old.

Brenne 10YO Whisky Single Malt is aged in ex-Cognac casks, utilizing only the finest French Limosin oak. This leads to a new level of sophistication—a deeply complex, nuanced, great-tasting kind of sophistication, only produced in small batches.

The word “terroir” means “of the land,” and it is used to talk about how individual locations influence the taste of fine wines. People don’t use that word very often when talking about distilled spirits. But it applies in this case. It’s definitely a fine single malt Whisky that lets you taste a bit of France with every sip.
