Caperdonich distillery had a wild history. When it closed back in 2002, it was the second time this happened. Their Whisky was mostly used as a component of some Chivas Regal expressions, but some casks luckily escaped this anonymous faith and survived as Single Malt bottlings.

Such is Cadenhead's bottling of Caperdonich from the year 1977 that is bottled at cask strength... There are really just a handful bottlings out there and oh boy do they deliver!
