D'Aincourt Cognac Premier Cru… there will be only 100, no more.

Maison D’Aincourt is located in the heart of the Cognac region, in Grande Champagne. They’re producing some of the finest eaux-de-vie in all the land. Cognac of this quality and age is more than rare, it is a treasure. Their Master Blender then works much like a master perfumer with his creations, carefully selecting and subtly uniting their oldest and rarest eaux-de-vie to reveal an aromatic harmony worthy of the crown.

Once you see the varnished black decanter, you pause… something about this one is different. But the different is more than visual and more than tactile. Ultimately thankfully — it is the Spirit inside the bottle that will speak to you, whispering something private and unique to each drinker. But it will only speak to a few… a rare and chosen few. Only 198 of bottles of this — some of the finest eaux-de-vie in the world — will be filled.

At some point, saying that a Spirit is "extra old" loses its meaning. D’Aincourt Cognac Premier Cru is made from the finest Cognacs, some MORE than 70 years old. This is more than special, it is an occasion unto itself. It is a gift or indulgence worthy of the highest levels of recognition and celebration. Impressive? To say the least. Inspiring? Yes, without a doubt. Will it be yours?

Did you know that on a warm spring Friday night, a small group of Flaviar Members flew to Paris for exclusive D'Aincourt Cognac tasting? Want to find out what happened there? Get a glimpse behind the scenes!

I'm very much of a cognac novice, but this is so incredibly delectable. This has such a great level of maturity and richness. It's not at all harsh on the tongue and leaves such a lovely aftertaste. My experiences with Scotch is far greater than that of cognac, but this rivals the best of Scotches.

As a Cognac drinker, I must say that this one is THE BEST COGNAC I have ever tasted. Unbelievable complexity and finish. Magic on the palate. A unique experience...

The first sip I had was a little hard to wrap my tongue around but I realized this is a very complex and flavorful cognac. It takes a few sips to get all the flavors down. It's robust from the moment it hits your tongue all the way through the finish with lots of entertainment in between. Many high end cognacs tend to be light of flavor, but not this one.
