Zino Davidoff was born in 1906 in Kiev, Ukraine, and later emigrated, together with his family, to Geneva, Switzerland, where they opened their first tobacco shop in 1912. We assume he liked Cognac.

Davidoff VSOP blends together 20 Eaux-de-vies from Fin Bois, Bon Bois and Petite Champagne. The prestigious blend was aged for 7 years in Limousin oak. It greets with woody aromas of tobacco, nuts, and honey that develop into fruity flavors of peach, orange, honey, nuts, and tobacco on the smooth palate. This kind of royal sipper should be savored neat but if you’re really not into that, enjoy it on the rocks or in a French Old Fashioned.
