El Jimador Reposado Tequila

Tequila Herradura is a legendary Tequila producer celebrating one hundred and fifty years. Félix López acquired the distillery from Feliciano Romo in 1870. It remained a family-owned and operated business for more than one hundred and twenty-five years and was seminal in the creation of the Reposado and Añejo styles. It has sense became a part of Brown-Forman where it is the foundation of their Tequila production. Located in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico, in addition to their own super-premium brand, they produce several other brands, including El Jimador — the biggest-selling Tequila in Mexico — among others.

El Jimador Reposado Tequila starts as all El Jimador Tequilas — with 100% hand-harvested Weber Blue Agave. The Spirit is naturally fermented with wild yeasts and then double-distilled. The Spirit then rests for two months in American oak casks. Over the last decade, this particular Spirit has won twenty-five major honors and awards, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. El Jimador is the #1 Tequila sold in Mexico, and this smooth Reposado is one of the reasons why.
