We bet Gin isn't the first thing that pops into your mind when you hear "Cognac, France". The folks at Maison Villevert, headed by Master Distiller and Wine guru Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, are all about producing surprising and delicious Spirits ― a practice that started with a grape Vodka and certainly doesn't end at G'Vine Floraison Gin. It needs to be said though: some of the earliest Gins were made with grape brandy!
G'Vine Floraison harkens back to those Gins of old but isn't shy about putting its own twist on things. Made with neutral grape Spirit from the Ugni Blanc varietal, the team searched for a suitable botanical to make it truly unique, finding just the right stuff right under their noses. It's the vine flowers themselves that proved to be the aromatic ingredient that would make the Spirit stand out and take the rest of the pretty-standard botanicals to a new level. The grape-based Spirit is fruitier than its grain counterparts, while the blossom maceration gives it a fresh florality. It's this winning combination that gives the Gin de France its luxurious identity.
