The GlenDronach Octaves 20 Year Old

Play it again, Billy. Yep, that’s the refrain GlenDronach's master distiller Billy Walker heard when he was inspired to recreate one of the most prestigious expressions hailing from their distillery — the Sherry-tinged legend of the 70s known as the Octave series.

He started out with a Whisky that was aged for 20 years in normal Sherry casks and then finished them for a couple of months in Octave butts (which are 1/8 of a normal butt) to get that extra Sherry kick. A rich, Sherry bomb explosion from The GlenDronach.
