Seven. Some say it’s a lucky number. But in Glenglassaugh’s case, it’s… complicated. The distillery's closed its doors over seven times in its storied century-long history. And because it was always used as a blend, only a scarce number of single malt expressions saw the light of day. Lucky for you, some of its great old liquid gold survived.
This 35-year-old Highland gem is a true symbol of what Glenglassaugh stands for. Distilled in 1976 and aged in a Sherry cask, this is one of just 604 bottles ever made. This is what they call “a catch.”
