For this delight, Glenmorangie teamed up with Makoto Azuma, a Japanese flower artist and co-founder of Jardins des Fleurs. When he nosed the 18 Year Old, he noted it had aromas of a blooming blossom. Translating the ex-Bourbon cask's sweet softness and the gorgeous Oloroso Sherry influence into art, Makoto created a floral showpiece that ended up on the label of this extremely rare release.

The Scotch spent 15 years in Bourbon barrels before it got a luscious 3-year finish in sherried casks, and in addition to having aromas of a warm spring morning, it comes with silky honeyed notes, and splendid floral flavors that evolve into fruits, wood smoke, and the lovely Oloroso nuttiness.
