Released in 2013, this is the 4th release in Glenmorangie's annual Private Edition series of small-batch wood experiments.
Ealanta (Gaelic for skilled, ingenious) differs from its predecessors as it has been full-term matured (rather than finished) in finest virgin oak casks made from heavily charred American white oak sourced from the Missouri Mark Twain forest.
Winner of several Whisky awards, this expression reveals notes of vanilla, candied orange peel, and sugar-coated almonds.
