Heaven's Door Redbreast Master Blender's Edition Bourbon Whiskey

You've got to hand it to Bob Dylan—he's one extremely prolific artist. And when he's not writing new classic songs, selling out shows across the globe, exhibiting his drawings and paintings in galleries, or receiving Grammys, Pulitzers, or Nobel Prizes for his work, he's producing his own line of American Whiskeys, called Heaven's Door Whiskey.

With this latest special-edition expression, "The Bard" wanted to give a nod to his connections with Ireland, where he developed a friendship with the well-known Irish Clancy Brothers in the 1960s. As this Irish liaison deeply affected his early work, so is Heaven's Door 10YO Bourbon deeply affected by Redbreast’s signature Single Pot Still Cask finish, where the juice rested for a whopping 15 months. Working together with Master Blenders Ryan Perry of Heaven’s Door and Billy Leighton of Redbreast Irish Whiskey, they married the best of both worlds, resulting in a taste profile unlike any American Whiskey: prominent notes of nuts, spice, and leather, as well as the influence of Sherry, citrus, dark fruit, and subtle sweetness.
