A bunch of guys from France, well Cognac to be more exact decided to reinvent the “Spiced Rum” and give this Rum class new horizons. Starting with Rums from Trinidad, Jamaica and Guyana which are all aged to the optimal age before being shipped to the heartland of Cognac.
What these Frenchman do is that they blend their Rums to get that perfect expression of pure summer in a glass and marry them together in oak casks that previously held Cognac.
The spices in Hee Joy are of course a close kept secret and its producers dare to say that they are a bit of alchemists in their field. Alchemists or not this Rum is set to be a real crowd pleaser, neat on the rocks or mixed in any kind of a refreshing cocktail you’ll always feel exotic but with that special touch of French influence… C’est bon!
