In 1967, the sorcerers at the Highland Park distillery created a spectacular Spirit. Of course, they did not know that at the time. They put the potion in American oak, and it was left there to mature until the legendary Malt Master Jim McEwan (of Bruichladdich fame) handpicked it for the 2002 Celtic Heartlands Series.
