A bright blue Liqueur filled with exotic fruits and premium French Spirits.
In 2001, Raphael Yakoby was a college dropout living at home with his parents on Long Island, New York. Two years later he sold his brand and trademark to Heaven Hill for $50 million. And if you don’t kind of love that story there’s something wrong with you.
Inspired by a bright blue perfume bottle at Bloomingdales, Yakoby decided to create an exotic blue Liqueur. He developed Hpnotiq. After failing to get a major Liquor company to pick up his idea, he partnered with Nick Storm — a New York native who had music industry contacts — to help promote the Spirit. They got the attention of Sean "P-Diddy" Combs who started serving the Liqueur in his restaurants. This prompted rap artists to start mentioning it in their songs and the popularity exploded.
Hpnotiq Liqueur is a blend of fruit juices, premium French Vodka, and a melange of five Cognac varietals. The exact blend of fruit juices and ratio of Spirits is kept strictly confidential. But the palate speaks wonders with exotic notes of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, and bright citrus. The unique signature sky-blue color is also a secret. Although technically a Liqueur, Hpnotiq sips close to a ready-to-drink bottled cocktail and has become a key ingredient in a range of bright blue cocktails in its own right.
