Well, that is a shower conundrum we can help you solve (You'll need to take care of the meaning-of-life-ones yourself, sorry): it was John Batterson Stetson who also founded the John B. Stetson Company. The hats soon became known simply as Stetsons. The company was set up during the Gold Rush in the 1860s and there were ups and downs in their story. At one point, the company was largest headwear producer in the world, but today the hats are made by Hatco in Garland, Texas.

John B. Stetson Straight Bourbon Whiskey pays a tribute to the American icon of cowboy hats. This fantastic sour mash Whiskey is distilled in Kentucky and bottled by John B. Stetson Spirits, LLC. It’s quintessentially American: crafted from native American corn and local wheat, rye, and barley, it’s then matured in charred American oak barrels. (All that’s missing is Dolly Parton singing the national anthem, dressed as an eagle, eating fries, amirite?) Bottled at 84 proof, the flavors of vanilla, char, spice, and fruit on the palate are for you to enjoy any way you like. On the rocks, in a cocktail, neat, whatever you want.
