Laphroaig is practically synonymous with Islay Whisky. Using peated golden Whisky and different casks for aging and finishing give this Islay-born Whisky an unforgettable taste. Especially for those die-hard peat lovers out there.

This 23-year-old bottle was distilled in 1991 and aged in sherry and bourbon hogsheads. Initially launched for the German market, it was limited to only 5,000 bottles. And the fact that it was bottled at 52.6% ABV gives us shivers.

Quite old and hella strong.

Way to peaty for my taste. Drank this on an ice fishing expedition and when we burped we though the cabin was on fire.
