Here’s to the finest of Spanish Brandies.
The Osborne distillery was founded over 200 years ago, in 1772, in the Andalusian town of El Puerto de Santa María, where it still remains located. This now 6th generation family-run business started with sherry productionand later expanded into Brandy in the mid-19th century. They're known for having the richest style of all the Spanish brandies, adding specially grown and macerated plums, almonds, and other fruits and nuts to its brandies at an early stage in the maturation process. Their logo is the Toro, after the black bull, which has become a Spanish cultural icon.
Larios 1866 Gran Reserva starts with a base of white Wine that’s made from Airén, which is a white variety that’s indigenous in La Mancha in the Spanish region of Toledo. After the base is distilled, this fantastic Spanish Brandy is aged Solera & Criaderas style for about 12 years. The final result is a Gran Reserva Brandy that greets with a rich nose that evolves into a gently warm palate, rounded by a smooth yet toasted finish. Savor this one after dinner with your close ones: neat, or on the rocks.
