A limited-edition Cognac with an extravagant character.
The roots of the Meukow House go back to 1850. Tsar Alexander II of Russia loved him some good Cognac and he really didn’t want to run out of it at any moment, so he sent two brothers August-Cristophe and Gustav Meukow from Silesia to France to get that royal supply chain set up. Eventually, after the two brothers had been going back and forth between France and Russia for a while, which probably wasn’t so effortless back then, they decided to settle down in the town of Cognac and open up A.C. MEUKOW & Co. on August 1, 1862. The legendary Cognac House is still going strong today as it became part of the family-owned and independent Compagnie de Guyenne, founded by Michel Coste in 1979 and that’s when their range really took off. Today, you can get Meukow Cognac in more than 80 countries and the House is led by Michel’s children.
This expression is just as flamboyant and intense as its extravagant red bottle. Meukow VSOP Red Limited Edition Cognac is crafted from Eaux-de-vie from several growing regions around Cognac. Aged for at least 4 years in French Limousin oak casks, Cellar Master Anne Sarteaux oversees all production and makes sure this Cognac is exceptionally pure. The oak leaves behind sweet vanilla notes that support the fresh fruit aromas.
