A precious Cognac blend.

The roots of the Meukow House go back to 1850. Tsar Alexander II of Russia loved him some good Cognac and he really didn’t want to run out of it at any moment, so he sent two brothers August-Cristophe and Gustav Meukow from Silesia to France to get that royal supply chain set up. Eventually, after the two brothers had been going back and forth between France and Russia for a while, which probably wasn’t so effortless back then, they decided to settle down in the town of Cognac and open up A.C. MEUKOW & Co. on August 1, 1862. The legendary Cognac House is still going strong today as it became part of the family-owned and independent Compagnie de Guyenne, founded by Michel Coste in 1979 and that’s when their range really took off. Today, you can get Meukow Cognac in more than 80 countries and the House is led by Michel’s children.

Meukow XO Cognac is what happens when you combine the delicacy of Grande and Petite Champagne Eaux-de-vie and the sweetness of Fins and Bons Bois Eaux-de-vie. So, a classy and powerful harmony of flavors. The long aging in oak wood barrels brings out just enough tannins to support the notes of almond and hazelnut on the expressive palate. And to top it all off, the elegant bottle is adorned with a Russian black panther. Classy stuff.
