He and his wife Iris Menne-Ullrich formed Ullrích & Co as a "Spirits Production & Consulting" company… and own Liquid Spirits Distillery… and design fashionable cocktail bars… and all of this Spirits industry entrepreneurship is located in Switzerland. Their primary product is the nginious! line of Gins which are delivered in clever bottles shaped like hip flasks.

nginious! Vermouth Cask Finish starts with their core, award-winning Swiss Blended Gin at 43% ABV. It is made from eighteen botanicals, including… juniper, barberry, laurel fruit, citrus and sweet orange peel, fresh grapefruit, cardamom, hay flower, clover blossoms, bee balm, verbena, hyssop, camomile, black currant leaves, orris root, carline thistle root, galangal, licorice. As you can imagine, this collection yields a powerful, aromatic combination. This exceptional Gin is then rested in barrels that previously held Barolo and Cocchi Vermouth.

The aromas have deep florals, a tartness, sultanas, citrus zest, and maple notes.

Flavor / Taste / Palate

The flavors are remarkably complex — seeming to grow and change with each sip — but you will notice mint, juniper, cinnamon, dried fig, and wet grass notes throughout.

Finish

The finish is fresh, crisp, and a bit tart.
