When worlds collide...

Henry Besant and Dre Masso were a couple of award-winning bartenders from the UK who met Maestro Tequilero Jesús Hernandez in Jalisco, Mexico… Isn’t that the great start to a story? Especially when the story ends with an awesome bottle of Tequila. The buddies set out to create their own high-quality, cocktail-friendly take on the famous Mexican Spirit. And since Tequila in the UK is fairly expensive, they wanted it to have great value as well. True to their mission, their Tequilas — Plata (silver), Reposado, and Añejo — are all 100% Weber Blue Agave. Half of their agave piñas are ground in stone tahonas, a characteristic that's usually reserved for much more expensive bottles of the stuff.

The unaged Olmeca Altos Plata has been on the list of many an acclaimed bartender as the best cocktail Tequila for a while now, as well as claiming many of the classiest awards, including at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. And for good reason! It's not just a fantastic base for mixed drinks — Margaritas, especially — it's just plain and simple a great-tasting, ultra-smooth, and proper Tequila.
