Premium Añejo Tequila from a respected market leader with a complex, wood-forward palate.
Patrón is one of the most famous Tequila brands in the world. Patrón was created by 7 Leguas Distillery in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco. Then it was sold to St. Maaren Spirits who eventually built a new distillery just for the brand — the Hacienda Patrón Distillery in Jalisco — expanding capacity and building the brand into a global powerhouse. In 2018, Patrón was sold to Bacardi — the world’s largest privately-held Spirits company — where the range has been expanded into dozens of tasty variants.
Patrón Tequila Añejo is one of the core four Tequilas in the Patrón lineup. Like all fine Tequilas, it is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave piñas that are carefully roasted and distilled in small batches. The añejo is then aged for a full twelve months in a combination of three oak casks — French oak, Hungarian oak, and American ex-Whiskey. The combination delivers an exotic wood complexity that continues to please fans all over the world.
