Spencerfield Spirits was set up in a small town in Scotland by Alex Nicol, a former marketing director at Glenmorangie. Spencerfield is a family run business dedicated to producing quality niche alternatives to more known conventional mainstream brands. Their flagship product is the Sheep Dip and Pig’s Nose is its stable mate – both curiously named due to the fact that the blender is located on a farm.

There's a couple of things you should know about Pig's Nose Blend. First of all, let's talk about the name: when a piece of fabric for example was really, really smooth back in the day, farmers would describe it to be as soft as a pig's nose. Now, Pig's Nose Blend is a blend of Speyside, Islay and Lowland malts with superior gentle grain Whiskies and it really is that smooth. It was crafted by 3rd-generation Master Blender Richard Patterson who selected 1st fill American oak casks to age the base – Invergordon grain Whisky. Then, Patterson added 5 premium Single Malts to the mix: 3 from Speyside, 1 from the Highlands, and 1 from Islay. The result is a harmonious balance of flavors on the elegantly light, luscious and creamy palate.
