In fact, this Islay distillery — now owned by Diageo — has gained quite a cult-like following. And trust us when we say, they’re a thirsty and ruthless bunch. 
 
This 22-year-old Port Ellen expression was distilled in 1978 and bottled by Rare Malts at the turn of the millennium.
