The Presidenté brand of Caribbean Rum is premium line of Rums from Oliver and Oliver — arguably one of the finest and most prolific producers of high-end Rums from all over the Caribbean and Central America. For generations, Oliver and Oliver have been distilling some of the most sought-after fine Rums in the world. Since fleeing Cuba after the revolution, they have built their Rum empire by discovering and acquiring some of the best producers in the Dominican Republic and Central America.
One of the Specialties of Oliver and Oliver is the production of premium Rums using the Solera aging method — where casks are never fully emptied so that some of the older Rum is mixed in with the new batch. When you see that Presidente Marti 23 Years Old, you know that 23 years is the age of the youngest Rum in the bottle. So even though 23 years is a long time to age Rum in the first place, it actually tastes even older. And all that effort pays off with an intense, fragrant, and delicate Dominican Rum.
