Good luck getting your hands on a bottle from the Rosebank distillery. Mothballed in May of 1993, people are still trying to nab a piece of this distillery’s rare golden drops.
The secret behind their magic? The traditional Lowland method of triple-distillation (as opposed to the double distillation method that is used almost everywhere in Scotland).
This Rosebank is from the Cadenhead's Authentic Collection series and has been aged for a lucky 13 years. It was distilled in 1980 and bottled the last year it was an active distillery. A Scotch of its own.
