A big Gin from the smallest distillery in the Netherlands.

Rutte Distillers have been in business for more than 140 years — that’s seven generations of Rutte fathers passing down knowledge and passion for the craft to their sons. Back in the 19th century, Simon Rutte had access to exotic spices and fruits from the Dutch East Indies, which allowed him to put his still to a good use, transforming his family’s café into a liquor store with a very sought-after spirits. Today, they are still sourcing and utilizing only the finest natural ingredients (fresh fruit and the best botanicals) with which they create a 100-percent natural spirits. Up to this day, all their Gins and Genevers remain hand-made in the same room where Simon Rutte created his first spirit in 1872.

A Gin where worlds collide — generations of Rutte distilling methods, and some of their new recipes come together to create this signature flavour. They used celery in the very beginning of their spirit-making path and looks like it’s making a comeback. Rutte Celery Gin is distilled with juniper, celery, coriander, angelica root, sweet orange peel and cardamom. Yum!
