St Magdalene 1980 Gordon and MacPhail Centenary Reserve

St. Magdalene Distillery was an old-school distillery in Linlithgow, Scotland, that stood on the site where St. Magdalene Hospital used to be (it dealt with lepers and whatnot). It operated between 1798 and 1983. When the legendary Scottish bottler Gordon & MacPhail celebrated its centenary in 1995, they bottled the 1980 Lowland Scotch from St. Magdalene and called it the Centenary Reserve.

It's a soft and sweet expression with a rather tropical twist. It's extremely rare and incredibly smooth.
