The Studer Company was founded by four Studer brothers in 1883 to make confections — those little sweet treats that span the middle-ground between candy and pastries. After a fire at their factory in Entlebuch, they retooled to include their first stills to make Schnapps. This made a lot of sense. They already had the connections for fruits, sugar, and yeast so adding distilled fruit Brandies was a natural. Now, distilled Spirits are all they make at Studer, including a wide range of Spirits from their signature Swiss Schnapps and flavored Liqueurs to Rum, Vodka, and Gin.

The first thing you notice about Studer Swiss Gold Gin is the decanter — it is a veritable snow globe with an impression of the famous Matterhorn Mountain pressed into the glass and gold flake raining down around it. But the Spirit inside the striking decanter is a Swiss Gin of the highest order with botanical infusions that include juniper, lemon grass, angelica, pepper, lavender, coriander, citrus zest, and ginger among others.
