The Talisker Whisky distillery was founded in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill. It sits on Skye's western coast, at Loch Harport. They are famous for their salty and sometimes smoky Whisky.

Better than Johnnie double black. Smooth, peaty, all the right overtones. Not flashy or pretentious, just another nice every day drinkable peaty dram.

Been under the weather for over a week now, a nasty cough is all that remains, lucky for me there is very few cures as effective as a good whisky 👌
