This curated collection invites you to wander through the world's lush gardens and aromatic groves, guided by the distinctive botanicals of each featured gin.

Begin your stroll with Gin 1689 Authentic Dutch Dry Gin, a royal soiree through a historic Dutch garden, where three-century-old herbs whisper tales of monarchy and tradition. Crafted from a 300-year-old royal recipe commissioned by the Dutch King William III, its harmonious blend of juniper, quince, apple, and zesty citrus notes offers a modern twist on a king’s legacy.

As you wander further, Von Hallers Gin Blush welcomes you into a German sea of flowers, where delicate blooms breathe life into the gin's fragrant bouquet of lavender and chamomile, evoking the sensation of a sunlit garden in full bloom. Echoing the poetic elegance of Albrecht von Haller's Göttingen garden, it's a delicate dance of aromas that lingers long after the last sip

Next, venture into the British countryside with One Sage & Apple Gin, where fresh British Russet apples and sage unfold a crisp and fragrant narrative of an orchard paradise. This gin's unique blend of ingredients creates the quintessential summer drink—a refreshing twist on tradition and a crisp serenade to nature's bounty.

Your journey continues to the luxurious landscape of Italy with Cambridge Distillery Truffle Gin. Infused with the earthy allure of the rare Piedmont white truffles, this gin transcends the ordinary, offering a rich, earthy profile with a silky finish. It's the world’s first gin digestif, promising a taste of decadence and elegance in every drop.

Conclude your global botanical gin tour in the mysterious Black Forest with Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin. Crafted from 47 handpicked ingredients, including local lingonberries, this gin is a complex masterpiece. The unique botanicals and soft spring water weave a tapestry of flavours that tell tales of woodland adventures and secret garden gatherings.

Make this Tasting Box a romantic odyssey in a glass that celebrates the diverse tapestry of global botanicals. Let each gin be your guide through this vibrant, flavorful stroll, where every note and nuance tells a story of its own.

Smartass Corner

1. Gin gets its dominant flavour from juniper berries. As with many other spirits, gin was originally intended to be used as medicine. Yeah right!

2. As producers try to develop new styles and flavours of gin, to push the category and find a niche, the need for trying new methods of extracting flavours, as well as using more unusual botanicals, has grown. One such way is the vacuum distillation method when the redistillation of botanicals takes place in a vacuum.

3. The "1689" in Gin 1689 refers to the year that the Dutch King William III - also known as William of Orange - invaded Southwest England and deposed James I — assuming the throne and bringing gin to England for the first time.

4. London Dry Gin is not always from London. Gin does not have the same geographical restrictions as spirits such as Cognac or Scotch. Only a tiny handful of London Dry Gins are actually made in the city.

5. Von Hallers Gin honoursflavours Albrecht von Haller, the botanist who established Göttingen's botanical garden in 1736. Each purchase helps preserve this historic garden's legacy.

6. One Gin debuted on World Water Day 2017, and it's more than just tasty. A sip supports clean water initiatives globally, with at least 10% of profits going to this cause.

7. Can gin really be gluten-free? Yes!  Pure distilled gin is generally gluten-free, even if made from grains like wheat or barley. The distillation process removes the gluten protein in the drink to make it gluten-free.

8. Founded in 2011 by William and Lucy Lowe, Cambridge Distillery captures English seasonal flavours with local botanicals. Their lab-like precision has crowned them "Most Innovative Distillery in the World" three times.

9. Few gin distillers make their own alcohol. Gin usually starts with a neutral spirit. A commodity that distillers buy in bulk. It's what the distiller does with this commodity in the flavour-infusing process that makes each gin different.

10. The inspiration for Schwarzwald Dry Gin originated from an adventurer named Montgomery Collins. His life journey from East Asia to the Black Forest supplied the autobiographical background for a bold fusion of local herbs and exotic Asian botanicals. A true taste of wanderlust!
