One such way is the vacuum distillation method when the redistillation of botanicals takes place in a vacuum.

3. The "1689" in Gin 1689 refers to the year that the Dutch King William III - also known as William of Orange - invaded Southwest England and deposed James I — assuming the throne and bringing gin to England for the first time.

4. London Dry Gin is not always from London. Gin does not have the same geographical restrictions as spirits such as Cognac or Scotch. Only a tiny handful of London Dry Gins are actually made in the city.
