Taking great care into selecting the finest fresh oak vessels from Jemen, infusing them with selected mature Sherry for 2 years, before shipping them to Scotland to be used for their next Scotch batch, you know you can expect nothing but greatness.
The result is the signature Macallan rich golden color and aroma, that just cannot be mistaken for any of the Speyside rivals and earns them the title of one of the most sought-after Whisky for collectors.
This 12-year-old was bottled in the 1980s for the Italian market and imported by Giovinetti & Figli of Milan, often cited as the main link between Scotland and Italy.
