A gorgeous Japanese Gin with a yuzu twist.
Founded by Steven Pattison and Richard Ryan in 2007, Kirker Greer Spirits is one of those rare, 100% independently owned companies that can offer a large-scale portfolio – get you an independently owned company that can do both, right! Producing an ethical range of 10 Spirit categories from 4 continents, their brands are sold in over 50 countries around the world. The Ukiyo range of Japanese Gin and Vodka is a brand offering three senses-evoking expressions: Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka, Japanese Yuzu Gin, and Ukiyo Japanese Blossom Gin.
Ukiyo Japanese Yuzu Gin begins by distilling a traditional Japanese Spirit – Shōchū. When it’s ready, it’s distilled one more time with mandarin, juniper, and spice. For that final twist, they infuse the Gin with yuzu. An exotic and flavorful citrus fruit from East Asia, yuzu kind of looks like a small grapefruit and it’s super juicy. There’s a 1500 year-old tradition of cultivating yuzu in Japan and this Gin honors it beautifully but still gives it a modern touch. And besides making all your friends ask you “Hey, what did you put in this amazing G&T?”, the yellow-blue gradient on the bottle will look gorgeous on your shelves.
