William Morris London Dry Gin

A London Dry Gin named after a Swiss designer.

William Morris was a painter, poet, architect, engineer, artisan and printer who lived in the late 1800s, in Switzerland. An iconic cultural figure, Morris was the designer and architect of two famous properties; one on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, and the other in the Arlberg region in Austria. The label design on William Morris London Dry Gin is a nod to the velvet carpets which appeared in these houses, designed and produced by Morris himself.

William Morris London Dry Gin is produced by The Wild Alps Company in Switzerland. The Gin is produced to a London Dry recipe, which doesn’t mean it's from London, but instead is defined as starting as a neutral grain spirit with flavor added through redistillation (and not added after this process), with no artificial sweeteners added. The Wild Alps Company hand-picks herbs which go into the Gin, and distills in small batches on a traditional copper pot still. A very traditional and balanced Gin, this has strong juniper on the nose and a balanced flavor of citrus and herbs.
