All about Rowan's Creek
John Rowan settled in what is now called Bardstown, Kentucky in the late 1800s. He was a local leader and a judge. There is an actual Rowan’s Creek that still bears his name and runs through the distillery grounds.
Rowan’s Creek Bourbon is named accordingly. The Whiskey itself is from Willet Distilling Company. It is one of the most popular Whiskeys in their portfolio of brands, and is currently available in all 50 states and a few international markets.
It is bottled at just over 50% ABV, and has strong notes of maple both on the nose and on the tongue. When this is coupled with the natural granola notes, there is almost the sense of pancake with warm butter and syrup.
