Bushmills is one of the most popular and enduring Irish Whiskeys. Hugh Anderson registered the company in 1784 in the town of Bushmills and, after a few fits and starts, they have been in continuous operation and growing since 1885. Jose Cuervo purchased the Old Bushmills Distillery from Diageo in 2014, but the suits know to stay out of the way of Irishman crafting their Whiskey. Bushmills currently has six Whiskeys in their core line-up in addition to special editions and releases.
Part of their Steamship Collection, Bushmills Steamship Sherry Cask is an Irish Single Malt, aged in Oloroso Sherry butts that were sourced directly from the Antonio Páez Lobato cooperage in Jerez, Southern Spain. After spending several years in these highly-sought-after butts, this fine dram was imparted with endless of layers of richness and spicy dried fruit aromas that round up in a mellow yet flavorful fine Spirit. Sip on it neat, on the rocks, or make a craft cocktail and enjoy the signature Bushmills’ honeyed maltiness with dark chocolate, nuttiness, and spice in perfect balance with vanilla and honey.
