St Magdalene Linlithgow 1975 Murray McDavid

Distilled in 1975 in the now-closed St. Magdaline Distillery (also known as Linlithgow) and aged for 29 years before being bottled by Murray McDavid in 2004, this is an exceptional Speyside Single Malt with no chill-filtering or color additions.

The guys at McDavid (who later went to purchase Bruichladdich on December 19, 2000 which lay dormant at the time) really ACEd this one. Referring to the coined term "Additional Cask Enhancement", the production of this Whisky involved additional finishing in a Bourbon cask before being bottled at the perfect sipping strength of 46%.
